Many people don’t realize that tides can be different, even at nearby locations. For example, in San Francisco Bay, the tides can be delayed or advanced from those on the coast because of the time it takes for the water to flow in and out of the 1600 square mile estuary. This app has always provided accurate Tide data for each of the stations. I pay attention to, on the coast, inside Monterey Bay, and inside San Francisco Bay.
I have bought this for $0.99 for the past several years. It’s one of the few apps that I’m willing to shell out money for. I’m a boater and live in South Florida and knowing the tides around here is important. It’s a great app, easy to use and displays the information is several different formats. I am pleased with it and will continue to buy it every year.
When I fish off the Oregon coast, knowing tides is important… It impacts my fishing, when I can cross the bar, and when does stay home. I paid the nominal fee for the premium so that I can plan my fishing trip to weeks or even months in advance.
How do I get sumba
I don’t see a way to update a review or change it or delete it. I had an issue, couldn’t solve it, wrote a crummy review in frustration. I finally contacted them and after many emails back and forth we were able to resolve the issue, which was “user issue” not the app. So 5 stars for a great app and 5 stars for customer service and if there’s a way to delete it let me know.
Have used this app for a few years s now but there is no way to use in new iPhone. 14. It would not accept my restore option and does not upgrade either. Too bad. Was good now not so much.
Why do we have tide charts for the Caribbean and not for Canada Northwest close to Washington you’ll USA?
This app is easy to learn. I also love the “details” tab which details sunrise and set, as well as moonrise and set, and when the moon is full.
I love the instant tide information and use it daily….
Easy to read. I use it daily as I live on a tidal inlet and the tides impacts a lot of what I do. Love the graphics.
The flood and ebb tide times for my location are about 4 hours earlier those found on the NOAA site.
Super graphics!
I use Tide Graph all the time. I am a life long sailor and teach and mentor would be/beginners. I urge the to use TG for tide and current predictions.
I use this on my Apple Watch & phone for when I surf and lifeguard in Florida USA Had an self inflicted issue and support was fast to troubleshot resolve Thank you
Really convenient to use, and also has sunrise, sunset, etc. details. Also works when not connected, this is an important feature.
I have been using this app for many years. It’s convenient and easy to see graphical depiction of what the tide level is and what it is going to be any time during the day. I surf everyday and this app is a real help in deciding where and when to go surf at the tide dependent areas near me.
Excellant charts . Intuitive operation. Easily read at a glance. Perfect for fishing.
I’m a liveboard and tides are a daily consideration. Tide Graph does it all! And the price is right!
Love this app. Ive enjoyed it for years. I take advantage of the low tide feature for metal detecting at the beach. Could be better if it offered a complication on the iWatch.
The map of the tide stations disappears when the cellular service is out of range. I used the app to travel by boat from the South Puget Sound to the San Juan Islands and when the cellular service was out of range, I would have to guess which tidal station to select.
Nice app. Worked well for years. Now that have implemented a pop up that claims there is a network arrow and offers a “solution” at your cost. A tide calculator that works in absence of an internet connection. I don’t need the upgrade. Stop lying that that the app is having network problems in an effort to get me to “upgrade”. Booooo! Awful tactic.
On my apple watch, it works great the first time, then when I look again, it hangs up on "please wait, loading...REFRESH" beautiful app, but I would use it mos on the watch. Wish this could be fixed.
I use this to know when the best time is to launch my fishing kayak from my local beach. Simple and easy. Ignore the 1 star whiner from May 26th. If you want the data when you don't have internet, it's a small fee for the more than casual fisherman.
... now it's a POS. I used the app for years. Free and did the job in a bare bones way. Suddenly they want an annual fee. This seems to be a growing a trend. I'm not buying it, there are better free apps still out there. Skip this greedware and move on.
Accurate and easy to use .
Does not update to Apple Watch. Displays High Tide when its Low Tide. The app on the iPhone once opened does not update. It stays on the old time.
Out of the several tide apps I've used, the graphic representation of the tides with its mid-tide horizontal reference line is most useful. Solid app.
I initially had problems with it loading on my watch and had to delete and reload. But now it's working fine. I love that I can have it on my watch face!
Never had a problem Alway accurate
I have use many other charts as I fish big rivers. And tide is crucial for planning when to fish. It's accurate as well
I conduct research along the Georgia/Florida coastlines, so I downloaded this app, and the tides are off....way off, by a couple hours sometimes. It is crucial to hit the ebb and flow tides just right for certain jobs and this is not the app to help you
This app has the best visual to quickly determine the current chosen tide. I wish that the Apple Watch visual has a more visible indicator of tide. Its pretty hard to see sometimes when you’re outside in bright sunlight.
I've had this app for ~7 years. I think it was the first app I've downloaded. I like that it's simple yet has everything I need. I use it for duck hunting, clamming, and fishing salmon, as well as general navigation on the Columbia River bar.
I like the presentation and the tide data. It works pretty well. However, when it got toward the end of the year (Dec 2014), suddenly the selected day was a year off - it would display the data for the same date in 2015. Using the date selector to select 2014 would not fix it. Using the date selector for 2013 would go to that date in 2013. So there was no way to display the correct date. I upgraded to Pro, which doesn't have that bug, though I don't like the presentation quite as well. iPhone 5 with iOS 7.
I've been using this app for a long time. In the past few months though it's gotten very slow - a long time between opening the app and displaying the chart. It seems it has to load something over the 'net and it's taking too long (slower when away from wi-fi). Used to be MUCH faster even on the older/slower phones.
Regularly slay fish using this app
Works exactly as advertised.
Really nice app for ocean tides. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I wish it had the ocean temperatures as well.
awesome and their new app, tidegraphpro, is even better!!!
This version of the app needs to be updated to display fully on the iPhone 5.
Of all the tide apps that I have tried, this has the best selection of information available, especially the tide tables. But the display has not been updated to new screen sizes and has tons of wasted space. It's very frustrating.
Thanks for fixing this from Ventura! Yea!
Please fix it, does not show details on location I am using this up for few years, was great but now needs an upgrade to work please make it to work again
Great app I use almost every day. Details no longer working since os7 upgrade please fix soon
I've used this App for years and love it but the Details are suddenly gone. Need a fix!!!!
I rarely rate apps but this one is so good and helpful that I want to recognize the developers for their great work! I use this app all the time and swear by it. We live on Puget Sound in Washington and our tidal swings are large. Having a reliable and accurate source for local tides I'd fantastic. I no longer use the printed tide tables
Tide Graph compatible with iOS 7? "Details" will not display on iPhone 5. Love the app.
Supported it appears
